Como ya sabréis, Microsoft anunció hace un par de semanas que convocará a la prensa en un evento el próximo lunes 14 de Marzo con Internet Explorer como protagonista.
Pues bien, después de mucha especulación sobre lo que pasará en ese evento, Microsoft acaba de confirmar en la web oficial de Internet Explorer que la versión 9 de este popular navegador de Microsoft se lanzará al público el próximo 14 de Marzo mediante Windows Update.
Internet Explorer 9 solamente estará disponible para las versiones de 32 y 64 Bits de Windows Vista y Windows 7; por lo tanto, Windows XP se queda sin soporte y sin actualizaciones de Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer 9 incorporará grandes cambios a nivel estético e interno, incrementando mucho el rendimiento de Internet Explorer 8, aunque quedando todavía muy lejos de otros navegadores como Google Chrome, Firefox u Opera.
